Wings Over America is most valuable as a souvenir for hardcore fans and also as a reminder of the excitement -- beyond the actual merits of the group's work -- that attended McCartney and Wings' work in the lingering afterglow of the Beatles. I only wish I could have seen the show live. The album has recently been remastered as part of the Paul McCartney Archive Collection. By all accounts, the Wings tour was a total success that resulted in Rockshow, a live concert film, and a triple live LP called Wings Over America.
