Tried the onboard intel displayport worked fine on boot up and turning the monitor off and on a couple times, then went back to using the 2060 displayport, got out of range on boot up..heard the usb/displayport sound still no display had to unplug and replug... wonder if its the card after all..
After playing those games for several minutes my monitor goes black or green saying either out of range or no signal detected. I didn't set my resolution to be out of range of my 1080p monitor's resolution. Umm, ok.
I connected PC to TV and I changed resolution to the native resolution of my monitor … This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption.
DisplayPort and HDMI are also not compatible signals. Fortunately, I had an extra DisplayPort cable lying around, so I gave that one a shot and problem solved. With the HDMI (or incorrect DisplayPort) connection the GPU sends out a ‘Limited Range RGB 16-235’ colour signal rather than the ‘Full Range RGB 0-255’ signal the monitor is designed to process and indeed sends out via DVI or correctly functioning DisplayPort. You are trying to go the opposite direction with the signal using a passive cable which I believe is just not possible. Yesterday I wanted to watch movies on my 4k TV and I unplugged VGA cable from monitor and plugged it into TV. Hi, I had a similar problem, and it got fixed by reducing the refresh rate.. a) Right Click on the Desktop.
When I finished watching movies I plugged VGA cable back into monitor but it shows only "Out of range".
